For the years 1962 to 1978, this data file gives the High and Low water
levels of the Amazon River at Isquitos, Peru (in meters).  The data for
1962 to 1969 are prior to the opening of roads into the upper Amazon
area, which allowed for rapid population growth and deforestation.
