The dataset smoke.dat contains two variables measured on 175 adults.  The
first is smoking status:  N = nonsmoker, L = light smoker, H = heavy smoker.
The second is FEV1, or forced expiratory volume in 1 second.  It measures
how much air a person can blow out in 1 second and is considered a measure
of lung function.
