Scatterplots and Correlation

One way to get a feel for how the value of a correlation relates to the shape of a scatterplot is to let the computer generate several sets of data with correlation (close to) a specified value. Each time you press the Submit button below, you will see a new scatterplot with the specified correlation r (initial value 0.9) and sample size n (initial value 100). You can change the values of r and n to see plots for different correlations and sample sizes.
