Some Rweb Notes

Luke Tierney

Date: Fall, 2006

Rweb is a Web interface to the R statistical computing system. These notes give some examples of using use Rweb for some basic data analysis calculations. Over the course of the semester I will add entries on how to use R for some of the calculations in our homework problems and for exploring some theoretical questions.

Rweb Examples

These links present examples of using Rweb for some simple data analysis calculations and for exploring some concepts.

Each example page contains a work area like the one below. You can enter R commands like the ones shown here in this work area. Clicking the Submit button takes you to a new page containing the results. You can use your browser's Back button to return to this page and edit your commands; to start over you can use the Clear button to clear the text area. A work area like this one should be available on each of the example pages.
